Here my brother Ryan and father are playing in the fountain seen on 'Friends'. Thankfully there was no water in the fountain at the time this photo was take, it was about fifty degrees Fahrenheit that day.
The Friends fountain was shot on the Warner Bros backlot. Use the buildings in the background as a reference. They're not New York. They're movie facades. Sorry to disappoint. Tour guides and pedicabs are unfortunately mistaken when they tell tourists that is the famous fountain. Google image the fountain and you can see tourists pictures with the real fountain on the studio tour. Buildings and all.
